Eric Thompson is one
of the original founders
of Echelon
Consulting. He, along
with his co-founder,
Amin Negandhi,
started Echelon Consulting
in 1997. Their common
vision
sets the tone and
direction for the
company. Eric guides
Echelon Consulting
in the area of high-level
strategy consulting
and custom application
development.
Eric also participates
directly in many internal
initiatives including
recruiting, client
relationship management,
and corporate culture.
One of Eric's primary
challenges is to help
create a work
environment within
Echelon Consulting
that is professional,
challenging, and fun
while fully equipped
to attract and
retain top talent.
Eric began his career
at Andersen Consulting,
where he helped
the internal knowledge
management organization
develop and
implement a knowledge
infrastructure that
was instrumental to
the success of Andersen
Consulting.
Eric is very involved
in many of the summer
activities that Chicago
has to offer. He received
a Bachelor of Science
degree in Computer Engineering
from Case Western Reserve
University and has lived
in Chicago ever since.
